Technical Project Developer – Renewable Energy (f/m/d)

We are renewable energy project developers dedicated to the transition to CO2-neutral mobility. Our current focus is on rail power — we develop ground-mounted photovoltaic and wind farms to produce single-phase electricity that feeds directly into the rail network.

With our know-how across the entire project cycle, we develop, finance, build and operate wind and solar farms and invest in the deployment of related new technologies, such as storage and charging solutions.

Your main tasks

  • Land acquisition for wind and PV projects for railway power plants
  • Proactive contact establishment with potential land owners and stakeholder management
  • Internal consulting and evaluation for (electro-)technical issues
  • Carrying out simulations and calculations
  • Development of the project in cooperation with the project manager until it is ready for construction

Your profile

  • Completed degree (FH or university) in the field of energy technology, electrical engineering or industrial engineering
  • Basic technical understanding in the field of power generation
  • Excellent German and good English skills
  • Ideally 2 years of professional experience
  • Interest in renewable energies, mobility and innovative technologies
  • Good knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint and AutoCad
  • Very good communication skills and high social competence
  • Motivated, proactive, independent and team player
  • A solution-oriented can-do attitude and willingness to learn

Your main tasks

  • Lead the business and all activities in Germany 
  • Build up a team in Germany  
  • Identify and evaluate project opportunities, lead M&A process, develop projects, manage relationships with utilities, authorities and landowners 
  • Coordinate with and supervise partners in Germany
  • Communicate and align with other departments such as the legal and technical teams

Your profile

  • Completed university degree
  • At least 5 years‘ experience in a management position, as well as experience in the development of major projects
  • Knowledge of the mobility or rail sector is an advantage
  • Experience in the German wind energy and PV market
  • Strong knowledge of M&A transactions and good general technical understanding of wind and PV projects
  • Ability to lead, inspire and develop a team
  • Excellent analytical skills, strategic thinking and problem solving skills
  • Fluent language skills in German and English

Project Development – Land Acquisition (f/m/d)

Your main tasks

  • Independently driving project development up to the stage of construction, with support from the technical and legal team
  • Identification and evaluation of suitable sites for photovoltaic, wind and hybrid projects with a focus on railway infrastructure
  • Independent research of land owners as well as establishing and maintaining contacts
  • Target-oriented approach and coordination with land tenants, agricultural cooperatives as well as municipalities and federal states
  • Independent negotiation and conclusion of land and cooperation agreements
  • Coordination of contractual partners throughout the entire project development cycle up to construction
  • Representation of the company in associations and at trade fair events

Your profile

  • Completed commercial or technical training / school-leaving qualification (HTL, HAK or Gymnasium)
  • Of advantage, but optional: Degree in economics or similar (FH or university) or professional experience in the field of field service/sales
  • Languages: German and English fluently
  • Independent and goal-oriented way of working, structured, analytical and networked thinking
  • Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Open personality and not shy about contacting people by phone
  • Strong communication skills in dealing with stakeholders as well as negotiation skills, assertiveness and a confident manner
  • Personal interest in renewable energies
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel within Germany and Austria
  • Driving licence (class B)
